Hey Everyone, it’s been a very long time with the holidays passing by and the long winter break, but do not worry I am back in full effect and ready to start an exciting NEW YEAR and semester. I did not think I would enjoy my break here in Detroit; however I must say I am having a blast here. I have been spending a lot of time with my family, co-workers, and friends. The only issue I have with being home is the weather Oh My Goodness we had this winter blizzard storm a couple of weeks ago oh let me tell you. The winter storm was so bad my car was stuck in the driveway for four days whomp whomp whomp. The holidays did not seem like the holidays at all, the only reason why I knew it was the holiday is because all the food I ate and all the family members I was around. I am really excited to start a New Year, I have learned so much from the past year and I want to take those learning experiences with me into the New Year so I do not make the same mistakes. My objectives for this upcoming year and semester are to work extremely hard even if that cuts out having a social life. I have a lot of things that I have to care of this semester including studying for the LSAT so I am on my top game this year. So I am ready to start school and I really miss my friends back in Columbus especially my crazy and funny roommates Alexis and Assimba can not wait to see you guys. Hello Everyone, we are finishing up another semester and I must it is about time. I can not wait to get out on Thursday. I only have three more finals left and I am good to go. I still have to pack and stuff but that is the least of my worries. I plan on staying in Columbus a little bit longer. I have to wait until my car gets out the shop so I do not have to drive back and forth from Detroit to Michigan. I am pretty pump to take a break from school because I was starting to question school like it is OVERRATED. I have to study for my three finals the only one I am worried about is American Government final. I just have to be on a study lockdown and I will be alright. I think I am just to the point where I am exhausted and I just want to be with family. I do not want to look at school work for a long time. I just want to go home and catch up on some meals, spend time with my mom and definitely go to church. If I work enough during break I can go shopping and get my mom a birthday present. What I really want to do is travel during this winter break because staying in Detroit is going to drive me crazy. Hello Hello Everyone……….Can you believe this semester is almost over? I am still in shock that next week is finals, it seems like this semester went by so fast. Well that means we are closer to Christmas. After the brief Thanksgiving break I am definitely looking forward to Christmas. Only problem with Christmas/winter break is that I will be at home for a whole month. I love my family and everything, but when I was at home for Thanksgiving I was extremely bored, I enjoyed my mom’s company and the food that I was able to cook and eat. Something else that will bother me about being back at home is that I felt a bit out of place. I have not been away that long to feel that way, however I just felt really out of out place. Now that the semester is almost over I am not ready to leave….strange I know I complain about all the homework that I have and how I can not wait until this semester is over and now I am nowhere near ready to leave……the irony I tell you. I must say since finals are next week, I have a lot of readying and studying to do. I wish I would have had my study guides at least two weeks in advance because I barely remember what was on the last quizzes or tests I took, let alone months of previous quizzes. Well I am going to get to all the studying and papers I have left to do before next week………….its okay because its beginning to look a lot like CHRISTMAS….I am so pumped about Christmas because that is the one holiday that I get to really spend with my family and everyone is so happy and joyful during that time in Christmas!! Hey Everyone!!! Guess what it is beginning to look a lot like Christmas….I am so pumped about the Christmas holiday even though I will not being doing so much shopping as I hope. Oh, well I will try to minimize my Christmas list to my very exclusive people. I do know one thing Thanksgiving is this Thursday and I am going to enjoy the food; however Thanksgiving break seems like the worst break because all of my papers and projects are due the week I come back from break. So how will I enjoy the holiday……….I guess I have to do what I have to do whoomp whoomp whoomp.
Next thing I know is the winter break will be right here and I am sort of ready to go on winter break because I get my seasonal job back at the hospital so HURRAY…….I just get a bit restless when I am at home for a month. My plans for Thanksgiving have slightly changed but I can still manage, instead of going to Battle Creek, MI I will stay in Detroit, MI because my mom has to work. So I will be in Detroit with my family and visit my friends maybe go out that weekend. I want to go shopping on Black Friday however it does not seem like that is going to happen I have to wait and see what my mom says. So I guess I should start on some of my homework assignments so I will not be so overwhelmed when next week arrives.
