Ohio Dominican University's Career Development Center has joined a recruiting system
provided by ODU JobLine. This service
permits students and alumni to search for available full-time and part-time positions and
internship opportunities. Positions can be posted directly on the website by approved
employers, allowing students and alumni to view job postings and their descriptions. Job
postings are assembled into different categories, allowing for easy searches for postings
related to the experience and needs of the student or alumni. Online recruiting enables
students and alumni to post their resumes online, and search for and apply for employment
opportunities.
Ohio Dominican University is in a consortium with three other area higher education
institutions -- Capital University, Wittenberg University and Otterbein College - that
are offering this service. As a result of this, employers can advertise their postings
to four campuses at once, enabling students and alumni to view postings from more employers.
The website allows Ohio, national and international employers to post opportunities, so
students and alumni are not limited to Central Ohio job postings.
